因为越位音乐节认识，同台，随后启动了这个特别合作。我们，时过夏末和Vaudlow，各自出动机，然后交由对方完成。期间通过线上沟通，保持方向和进度。
这样的两首新歌，已经难分彼此。也毫不重要。
录音制作大部分由Vaudlow完成，我们的厂牌1724则承担了设计、生产，并和岸果音乐联合发行。
这张特别的唱片，记录了这次完全不同的创作，也是台前幕后所有人接近一年的时间印迹。我们觉得，今年越位音乐节的主题，就是这张唱片最合适的名字：《相聚》。

Two bands. Two new songs. Nearly a year of collaboration across thousands of miles.
Vaudlow from the United States and Summer Fades Away from China first met and shared the stage at Offside Festival. What began as a meeting between two bands gradually became something much more: a genuine co-creation.
Summer Fades Away sent a musical motif to Vaudlow, who developed, arranged, orchestrated and recorded it. Vaudlow did the same with their own motif, which was then developed by Summer Fades Away. Through constant communication, revisions and multiple recordings, the two bands spent nearly a year completing two new songs together.
A friend described the whole process simply:
“Two bands falling in love.”
Maybe that is not far from the truth.
In 2026, the two bands will meet again at Offside Festival and then take this collaboration on their first joint China tour, visiting Hangzhou, Ningbo and Shanghai.
These shows are more than a regular two-band bill. Vaudlow and Summer Fades Away will perform their two co-created songs together on stage, while each band will also present a full individual set.
Each band will play for at least 60 minutes, with the complete show expected to run for more than 140 minutes.
Plenty of music. Something unique.
Beautiful passages.
Explosive noise.
All created by two bands who put their love into building their own instrumental worlds.
And all of it belongs to you.
